SENDING INCLUSIONS
MAKE AN ORDER
We ask that all clients place an order before sending their mail to the shop so the preparations needed can be done before your mail arrives. This helps lessen the wait time of having your jewellery made. Ordering also provides specific details about your jewellery and allows time to communicate any questions/concerns.
CHOOSE A POSTAL SERVICE
It is very important to send your gemstone inclusions (ashes/lock of hair etc.) with an appropriate postal service. Your local post office will be able to assist you with questions about shipping.
Be advised that Canadian residents must ship through:
- Canada Post: This is the only mailing provider that legally ships ashes in Canada. While tracking is not mandatory, it is advised to utilize this option for ensuring the safe arrival of your mail to the shop.

- USPS: This is the only mailing provider that legally ships ashes from the US to Canada. While tracking is not mandatory, it is advised to utilize this option for ensuring the safe arrival of your mail to the shop.
FOREVER IN GEMS ADDRESS
Upon placing your order, please send your materials to our shop at your earliest convenience. Our address is as follows:
- When you place your order please include the address you are having it sent to. Shipping fees are in real time and based on the location the package is being sent. Canadian and United States residents do not pay for shipping their order but still need to provide the correct shipping address.

COLLECTING INCLUSIONS
PREPARATION ITEMS:
- Small spoon (1/8 measuring teaspoon or ¼ measuring teaspoon)
- Possibly scissors
- 2 small ziplock snack or sand which bags
- 8x11 piece of paper
- Envelope
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. With all the needed materials together, start by opening the urn or package containing the ashes if you are sending cremains
2. Open a ziplock bag and place it in a position easiest to put the ashes in it
***ASHES***
For each loved one/loved pet, please package separately
With a measuring spoon or small spoon, take out approximately 1/8th – ¼ of a teaspoon
***LOCK OF HAIR/FUR***
For each loved one/ loved pet, please package separately
The amount needed is anything above 20-30 strands ½ inch in length minimum (There are some exceptions to the amount needed. Please contact the shop if you have less than the requested amount.)
***DRIED FLOWERS***
Before sending in your flowers, please dry them out to ensure they do not mold. There are a few methods that can be used for drying out flowers. If you are unsure as to what method to use please do some research and choose the best option for you.
The amount needed varies depending on the size of gemstone being made. Any flowers not used will be returned to you with your order.
4. Place the contents in the ziplock bag
5. Close the ziplock bag and replace the lid on the urn or packaging used to hold your materials.
6. Open the other ziplock bag and place the first containing the ashes inside of it.
7. On the piece of paper please write your name, order number and address.
Please include your preferred method of communication such as Etsy Message, text (include phone number) or email (include email address)
8. Fold the piece of paper then place the bag with the materials inside
9. With the inclusions now packaged, place it in a mailing envelope
ONCE YOUR MATERIALS ARRIVE TO THE SHOP
- You will be notified once your package arrives to the shop through preferred method of contact
- An approximate date for crystallization will be given
- Upon completion of your gemstone being made, we will send you a picture to ensure complete satisfaction. If you would like any changes made, it will be noted and processed as quickly as possible
- Depending on the number of items being made, it takes between 1-3 weeks for a gemstone to be made and altered with requested changes
- Once you are completely satisfied with your jewellery, it will quickly be sent for shipping and you will be provided with a tracking number
